It is effective in the treatment of uneven pigmentation and in the reduction of fine lines. Recovery is usually only 2-3 days (a weekend). Three treatments, at monthly intervals, will give optimal results. Obagi Blue Peel – Medium Depth Skin Peel Medium depth peels are used to remove sun damage and acne scars as a method of facial rejuvenation. The Obagi peel is unique in that a colored dye is incorporated for the applicator to judge the amount of liquid applied, thus regulating the strength of the acid peel. Recovery is usually 7 days.
